Design a professional learning cycle that connects teacher knowledge with modelling, rehearsal, developmental feedback and follow-through in your school.

Most schools invest time in courses, training days and new initiatives. The harder question is what changes when teachers return to their classrooms. New knowledge needs modelling, rehearsal, feedback and time to become part of everyday practice.
This course helps leaders design professional learning that gives teachers a realistic route from an idea worth trying to a change they can sustain and review.
Build professional learning that gives teachers a supported route from new ideas to changed practice.

Most courses run at our base in Vasastan, a few minutes' walk from Odenplan, with cafés and a park close by. We confirm the venue with each group before the course. Arlanda is about 40 minutes away by commuter train or airport coach, with no change needed. Between sessions there is time to walk by the water and reflect. We find people learn better that way.

A Danish-led review of nine international studies finds that play in secondary maths and language classrooms is talked about with real confidence and studied with almost none. For anyone being pitched playful pedagogy as an evidence-based fix for disengaged teenagers, that gap is worth knowing about.

When digital change gets messy, schools often look to the headteacher. This review suggests that is only part of the picture. What matters just as much is whether responsibilities are clear, staff have the right support, and the organisation is actually set up to make good decisions about technology.
