Meet the team.
We bring classroom practice, headship, wellbeing, inclusion and belonging, learning experience design and work with organisations, all from Stockholm.
Co-founderNick Praulins
Leadership · Classroom Practice · Corporate Communications
Nick Praulins is co-founder of The Nordic Learning Company, where he leads our work with schools and educators, shaping the learning philosophy, pedagogy and programme design behind its education practice.
A teacher and school leader by background, Nick spent 18 years working in education, including seven years as a school principal. His work now spans learning design, facilitation, leadership development and educational consulting, working with teachers, school leaders and learning organisations across Europe.
Nick leads the development of programmes that bring together research, strong pedagogy and the realities of working in schools. He is particularly interested in deep learning, student and staff wellbeing, the craft of teaching, and what genuinely helps people change their practice.
His experience also extends beyond education into mental health, organisational learning, content and communication, and AI-enabled ways of working. That breadth informs his approach to schools: drawing intelligently from other fields without losing sight of what makes education distinctive.
Across his work, Nick is interested in a deceptively simple question: how do we create the conditions in which people can genuinely learn, grow and do their best work?
Co-founderMarius Ketels
Coaching · Facilitation · Leadership
Marius Ketels is co-founder of The Nordic Learning Company, where he leads much of our work with companies and organisations, designing and facilitating programmes around leadership, teams and human performance.
With a background from both Stockholm School of Economics and Hyper Island, Marius brings together a unique perspective from business, organisational life and experience-led learning. As an ICF-trained coach and certified personal trainer, he brings sharp observational skills and the ability to challenge assumptions and drive conversations toward outcomes and action.
At The Nordic Learning Company, Marius works with organisations to create learning experiences that go beyond simply transferring knowledge. His work explores how people communicate, collaborate and lead, and how individuals and teams can build the behaviours and capabilities they need to do their best work. His work now spans coaching, facilitation, and corporate fitness and personal training.
He is particularly interested in what helps people move from insight to action, and in creating learning environments where people can challenge themselves, experiment, and grow. His next step will be to undergo a leadership training designed by the Swedish Defence University on "Understanding Groups and Leaders" (UGL).
“Nick and Marius have a rare ability to make complex ideas feel clear, useful and accessible without oversimplifying them.”
