View profile →How can we use AI to improve teaching and learning without outsourcing the thinking that makes learning possible?
AI can help teachers plan, create, communicate and solve problems. It can also make it remarkably easy to bypass the thinking that learning depends on.

Teachers are using AI to prepare lessons, generate resources and provide feedback. Pupils are encountering tools capable of producing convincing answers in seconds. But faster work does not necessarily mean better learning.
These are questions schools need to confront now.

Day 1
What AI is, how language models work and why they hallucinate.
Day 2
Prompts, context, verification and repeatable workflows for real tasks.
Day 3
Teacher tasks and a workload audit: automate, augment or keep human.
Day 4
Cognitive offloading, memory, productive struggle and what learning requires.
Day 5
Age-appropriate practice, assessment redesign and your AI Practice Portfolio.
Day 6
Presenting your portfolio, peer critique and a plan for your school.
Every course we run is built on what research says makes professional learning change practice. Here is what that looks like in this one.
Understand how language models work, including tokens, context and why a confident answer may still be wrong.
Identify one recurring professional task and one classroom decision to work on throughout the course.
You will work in a fixed triad throughout the course. For each practical technique, you will see it modelled, try it yourself, receive focused feedback and improve it.
Short retrieval activities at the start of each day help you return to and use what you learned earlier in the week.
The course is informed by the OECD and European Commission AI Literacy Framework, alongside Nordic AI-literacy work including Faktabaari EDU.
EUR 580 per participant, incl. VAT
Facilitation and all course materials, a certificate of attendance, a selection of cultural activities in Stockholm, and fika every day: tea, coffee, something baked and something healthy.
Meals, travel and accommodation.

Most courses run at our base in Vasastan, a few minutes' walk from Odenplan, with cafés and a park close by. We confirm the venue with each group before the course. Arlanda is about 40 minutes away by commuter train or airport coach, with no change needed. Between sessions there is time to walk by the water and reflect. We find people learn better that way.

No. Teachers with no AI experience start with the fundamentals, and every day includes practical activities. Experienced users are challenged to test, refine and question how they already work.
Yes. Primary teachers need AI literacy to make sound decisions for their pupils. The course does not recommend giving primary pupils direct access to generative AI tools. It draws on precautionary Nordic guidance, such as Norway's, which advises caution rather than imposing a total legal ban.
What you’ll leave with
Practical AI skills, tested resources and clear judgement about where AI belongs.
Pairs well with

Help children become curious, questioning and increasingly thoughtful about the AI already around them.

Build an app. Learn to teach app building.

Help students move from simply using AI to questioning how it works, what it produces and what using it does to their learning.
